When it was first unveiled in 2010, the 2011 Nissan LEAF was only being offered in a few states across the country. Now, the redesigned 2012 Nissan LEAF will be available at Teddy Nissan - 3660 Boston Rd - Bronx, NY, and many other dealerships across the country will be excited to offer this model. The new 2012 Nissan LEAF is going to be offered carried at more dealerships in more states!
Nissan raised the bar for automakers across the globe by creating the LEAF which was the world's first mass produced all-electric vehicle. The LEAF has received a lot of attention since it was first introduced in 2010, from eco-conscious consumers to auto critic around the globe. This year, everyone will get the chance to test drive the LEAF.
Orders for the new 2012 Nissan LEAF began in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York. Deliveries of LEAF, with additional standard equipment including quick charging for 2012, will take its place in all key markets by year's end.
"Consumers have spoken, and it's clear that they are looking for a car that produces zero emissions and uses no gas," said Brian Carolin, senior VP of Sales and Marketing at Nissan North America. "We are seeing tremendous consumer interest in the Nissan LEAF in these new markets, particularly in the New York metropolitan area."1
A new online blog, NissanLEAFDrivers.com, will feature content from 14 LEAF owners. Each will share personal experiences of owning the electric car.
