Nissan to Bring Back the Datsun by 2014

It has been quite a long time since Nissan sold a Datsun vehicle, 31 years ago to be exact. But, as the automaker looks towards the future it plans to sell approximately 300,000 Datsun cars in 2014. Doesn't that seem a little strange? Well, Nissan's reasoning behind this is that the company is trying to capture more market share in emerging auto markets.

This is because new car shoppers in these emerging…

Nissan LEAF to Enter New Global Market

Chances are you've heard of the Nissan LEAF. Who hasn't, right? However, as much as the LEAF has saturated the media, it's still available in just 28 states, and Washington, D.C. It's not that drivers from across the U.S. can't order and own the LEAF. It's just that the EV is actively sold in only 29 markets, making test driving a LEAF significantly more challenging for those…

That doesn't sound too difficult, right?

Here at Teddy Nissan we believe it's certainly worth the effort, taking into account the contentment you'll…

Car-Buyers Love, Love, Love the New Nissan Versa

Many things in life are uncertain. One thing Teddy Nissan knows for sure, however, is that new car buyers are absolutely smitten with the new Nissan Versa sub-compact. This isn't some half- truth conjured up by the hopeful at Teddy Nissan, either. Quite the opposite; it's based on two unbiased data points: Nissan Versa sales and Nissan Versa market share.

Last month alone, 2012 Nissan Versa sales reached nearly 10,000 units. Nearly?

Nissan Looking to Expand Its EV Line-Up

Nissan is hoping to expand its selection of EV cars, such as the popular Nissan Leaf and forthcoming NV200 delivery van.

One opportunity would be to introduce an electric sports car. The automaker unveiled their  Esflow 2-door concept in 2010, which had a sporty appearance. Pivo 3, a small city concept car, could be a potential choice.

Another alternative is Townpod EV. This small minivan provides easy access via rear-sliding doors and mass amounts of…
